The business complex was awarded the Technology Business Building of the Year prize
Sofia Airport Center (SAC) garnered an award during the second edition of the Innovation, Technology & Sourcing Awards 2017, organized by two of the leading technology associations in Bulgaria – Bulgarian Outsourcing Association (BOA) and Bulgarian Association of Software Companies (BASSCOM). The first place in the “Technology Business Building of the Year” category is a recognition for the exceptional quality of the office space at SAC, which meets the highest criteria of the technology industry. The awards giving ceremony took place on June 16th in the city of Burgas, in the presence of the President Rosen Plevneliev and the Mayor Dimitar Nikolov.
“The success of our project, and in particular of the award-winning A2 office building, is based on many factors: the high-quality construction, the use of newest building installations and systems, the professional property management and the green concept, which is unique for the Bulgarian market. We took into account the future requirements of the IT industry since the design stages of the building. This allowed us to create a positive and truly-rewarding work environment that meets the needs of our tenant-companies and their employees, “said Olga Stoichkova, Commercial Director at Sofia Airport Center.
More than 30 leading international and local companies from the technological, pharmaceutical and other industries, have established their operations at Sofia Airport Center. “The next phase of the complex will include additional high-quality office space equipped with the newest building automation systems and a modern amenities center, which will allow all 5,000 SAC employees to achieve a better work-life balance. We are aware of the increasing importance of the workspace, which drives dynamic changes in the office design, such as hot desking (lack of fixed work spaces), multi-purpose areas, recreation spaces and home office. At SAC, we are totally capable to meet these tenant requirements and create functional spaces as per their individual needs. “, added Mrs. Stoichkova.
